I’m Dr. Dee Majko, a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Virginia. For over ten years, I’ve been using my extensive experience to provide effective, compassionate therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked in numerous clinical settings including private practice, outpatient community health centers, and residential treatment facilities. I have received post-graduate advanced clinical training at the Washington School of Psychiatry and completed the two-year Clinical Program. I am also currently a Fellow at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy.
My clinical work has focused on individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, and relationship distress. I have extensive experience with psychological testing and immigration evaluations. Originally from Albania, I am fluent in English and Albanian, and am responsive to cultural issues and differences. I strongly believe that therapy is an investment in yourself and that, with the right support, you can gain personal insight and understanding, and truly thrive.
