Danielle Miller

Doctoral Psychology Extern

Danielle Miller is a doctoral student at The Chicago School in Washington, D.C., pursuing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she was involved in several research labs focused on neuroscience and mental health.

Prior to beginning doctoral training, Danielle worked as an ABA therapist, supporting children and families through evidence-based behavioral interventions. She also spent the past year at a neuropsychology practice administering, scoring, and conceptualizing psychological and neuropsychological assessments, where she developed experience in cognitive, emotional, and diagnostic evaluation.

Danielle is passionate about creating a compassionate, collaborative, and insight-oriented therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and empowered in their healing process. She strives to integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with psychodynamic and evolutionary psychology perspectives to provide individualized and holistic care.

Her clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, women’s health, eating disorders, body image concerns, trauma, and ADHD. Danielle is particularly interested in helping clients better understand the underlying patterns shaping their experiences while building practical tools for resilience, emotional regulation, and long-term growth.

Danielle works under the supervision of Dr. Dee Majko.
